MAKING AN APPOINTMENT . . .

Bet Tzedek serves only residents of Los Angeles County who have low or moderate incomes. Bet Tzedek does not handle traffic tickets, medical malpractice, workers compensation, personal injury, immigration, family law matters (divorce, custody or child support) or criminal law matters.

Due to a large volume of phone calls, Bet Tzedek has an automated menu system, with information in English, Spanish and Russian. Callers seeking legal advice are asked to leave a name and telephone number and brief message describing the issue about which advice is sought. When the phone call is returned, the caller will be asked a series of questions relating to eligibility and income and the problem for which assistance is sought. If Bet Tzedek is able to assist, an appointment will be set up with one of our attorneys. We do not take walk-in visitors. No one is seen without an appointment.
